What if we are not able to attend the race? Do we get a refund on our registration?
Because we are supporting a 501(c)(3), your registration is considered a direct donation and is non refundable. Harvesting Hope 5K is not profiting from any of your registration dollars as they are being given 100% to the charity to further their research efforts. Thank you! YOU are helping children and adults alike in Colorado (and in the rest of the nation) take a big step toward living life full!
Will the event be rescheduled if there is rain/snow?
We in Colorado have had the luxury of enjoying beautiful Thanksgiving Day weather for many years! However, we are also accustomed to Mother Nature’s blessings. Therefore, the race will go on regardless of weather, although an alternate course may be used if paths are snow packed or flooded. We’ll keep you apprised of expected weather conditions on our Facebook page and website so you can plan accordingly.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes! But please beware, one length of the course will take place on a crushed gravel/dirt trail. Also, no need to register a child in a stroller. Participants with strollers must start behind the individual runners/walkers and follow social distancing policies for 2021.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well behaved leashed dogs are allowed to run with their non-furry friends.
Are there any other restrictions?
For the safety of all participants, please no bikes, scooters, roller blades, skates, skateboards, etc. Also, headphones are discouraged, but if you must bring them along, please keep the sound low enough to be courteous to other runners who may be passing by you.
